Instructor Spotlight: Mr. Alex

Mr. Alex is AWESOME!

He used to be in our Little Warrior's program and after working hard to help our kiddos have some awesome summers he decided to hang out with us all year long during this whirlwind of a transition!

Mr. Alex strives to teach our Little Warriors:
"That compassion is a wonderful thing to have even on the hardest of days."

The kiddos love Mr. Alex because:
He is a bit of a nerd and knows a lot about a vast array of subjects
He always encourages them to be smart and work hard in school
He has the corniest jokes and is very "punny"
The After School kids get to hang out with him and color or construct paper weapons once a week

A few of Mr. Alex's favorite things:
Mr. Alex likes to keep busy. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and is always down to talk. He also has a varied array of hobbies including drawing, video games, vibing to music, and playing the trombone.

A little bit more about Mr. Alex:
Mr. Alex came to work for us full time after a tumultuous summer camp in 2020. He is very chill individual. We love that out of all the super powers he wishes for the ability to stop or slow time so he can enjoy the things and people in his life more. Mr. Alex is a big proponent of kindness and perseverance. He has worked with children for several years in tutoring and mentoring in a leadership program at Junior Highs for credit towards his college courses. When asked who his hero is, Mr. Alex chose his dad and said "through all of the hard times he has shown me I have to think about the problem at hand and then act. That way I can find the best solution to get through." We love this mentality Mr. Alex brings to our children's program and how he helps builds up our kiddos.

Mr. Alex you bring so much energy and experience to our program! Thank you for being you and helping give back by raising the next generation of Little Warriors.
