Digital Diversions During Family Time

I hear it all the time "Kids spend to much time on electronics." 
But in this day and age is it realistic to have a total ban on digital devices?  



I think parents need to ask themselves "Are digital diversions robbing us of the vital lessons of play and connection when it comes to raising families?"
